10. DOPE (2015 )
This is a fun, erratic and yet an extremely meaningful movie. Like the name suggests, this movie basically shows how exactly some geek friends get involved with a drug ring, and then try to escape it’s claws . Very cleverly directed, this is a brilliant crime comedy and aims at grasping the audience’s attention. It is based on a novel by Sara Glan, with the same name, which makes this movie a huge commercial success , and a positive acceptance . It is smart and revolutionary, and also leaves a brilliant message .
Ofcourse you will have to watch the movie to find this out . (Because I am not willing to spoil the fun).
9. AMERICAN REUNION (2012 )
For those of you who are still in love with your high school days , and want to revisit your golden days , this is exactly the kind of movie you should be watching. ( And trust me, this is not High School Musical).
Starring some of the most loved stars ( Jason Biggs,Alyson hannigon, Chris Klein and others ), this movie depicts the jists and fun of a school reunion. This is one movie you should watch when you decide you desperately need a freaking laugh. The unrated version is even better, but I suppose, it was * too funny * for the theaters. The charm of the movie is in the actors. They all come together for their school reunion, brag about the good old times, and make a few grubby jokes about beer diets. This movie is entirely a golden comedy.
8. TED SERIES (2012 – 2015)
Just because you are a boy does not mean that you cannot like or own a teddy bear. And I suppose it would be considered a mere stroke of luck if that teddy bear starts talking back to you, and is finally capable of being your new best friend.
For those of you who haven’t watched this movie yet,John ( Mark Wahlberg ) is blessed with this particular kind of miracle, Ted the talking teddy bear ( Seth MacFarlane.)
If you happen to have a thing for talking teddy bears or talking or just teddy bears, this is exactly the movie you are supposed to be watching, at any cost. *THUNDER BUDDIES FOR LIFE *, Ted and John, stick together through all the ups and downs life puts them through , in the most comical ways , making the audience jolt with laughter. It is also an enthralling tale of friendship and love.
7.THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL (2014 )
A comedy which takes you back to the times when breakups didn’t exist.Just kidding. ( I might be right though).
Directed by Wes Anderson, it is stylish and the most unique comedy of all times. It takes the audience back to the 1930’s . It shows the adventures of Gustave,a concierge who is now the owner of the hotel (THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL is a hotel in Europe) , and Zero, his most trusted and the only friend from the lobby, between the first and the second world war.
This movie depicts a deeply emotional idea in a very light manner.
6. THAT’S MY BOY (2012 )
Adam Sandler keeping up with his wonderful title of * the movie idiot * performs flawlessly and presents this adorable hit. The movie is an absolutely funny story about how a teen raises his own child , as a single parent. Then abandons him at 18, and then after years, crashes his wedding and changes his life. ( Not that you need to be inspired by this.)Donny ( Adam Sandler) fathers Todd( Andy Samberg ) ,while he himself is a teen. Raises him (with extremely poor parenting skills) only till he is 18 and then lets him go. It is full of ridiculous yet humorous moments, from the starting till the last minute.
5. DUMB AND DUMBER SERIES (1994- 2014)
Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels. Actors you can’t stop remembering when it comes to the big screen, and especially the comedy genre. It is always a blast to see them together. A buddy comedy, where this silly duo goes out of it’s way to leave the movie’s audience sniggering. Released in three sequels ,this movie has always gained love from it’s audience. Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, are incredibly moronic. This fact makes the movie ten times more funnier than it is actually supposed to be. At the point of life where you don’t know where your life is going? Watch this movie to know there can be scenarios much worse than yours. So much worse. And with the right friend by your side, you can still manage to walk through this hell with a smile.
4. 21 JUMP STREET (2012)

3. HANGOVER SERIES ( 2009 – 2013 )
Three close friends, a vacation, heavy drinking mirth , and the morning regretful hangovers. Relatable much? Yes. This movie revolves around this very common scenario, and in absolutely absurd yet hilarious ways. A story of friendship and it’s peculiarity. A movie we all definitely want to watch.Phil Wenneck ( Bradley Cooper ), Stu Price (Ed helms)and the movie jester Alan Garner (Zach Galifianakis)are all set out to enjoy a vacation, and little do they know, it is going to be the most happening holiday of their life. STEVE CARELL at his best. This movie is one of the most splendid movies of all times and has also been voted as one of the greatest comedies ever made. 1. BORAT ( 2006)
This movie is a mind boggling Kazakhstan parody bound to leave you at a loss of words , and a stomach ache
( due to laughter, of course ). Unlike any other parody , Borat is more like a mockumentary. It is oblivious of the usual and chases the irrational. A Kazakh journalist travels through United States Of America, interviewing Americans , in his queer ways. Starring,Sacha Baron who in his spectacular ways pulls of the storyline quite remarkably. This movie has been a huge commercial success, and can surely give you the maximum laughs you have ever had in a minute.
