French fries! I can literally hear them as they lure me into devouring them.
And here I am , ” No potatoes. Because I don’t want to turn into a potato.How hard is that ? ”
But oily food cannot be ignored . How is one supposed to avoid it? All the crispy crunchy subway delights are now almost a part of life and we all are so much more happier with this lifestyle. But on the contrary , you must all be aware of the fact about how excess of everything is bad and how you need to stay away from all this oil, because the greatest wealth is health and only a healthy inside means a healthy outside. Yes, it is entirely true, and I can tell you why.
HERE are some reasons why oily food should be avoided.
10.ACNE
So apparently, the acne on your face is not due to puberty. It’s the oil. Studies show that the more oily food you eat, the more oily your skin tends to be . The oil gland activities on your skin trigger up, and hence- you get acne. Over time high insulin levels can make skin drier, thicker, and flakes of dry skin block pores. It can also increase levels of free androgen (male hormones) in males and females, making the skin’s sebaceous glands produce more oil and triggering acne. On an advisory note, avoid oily food, especially if you already have an oily skin. Even if you don’t, there is always this risk of oily food affecting your skin ( which you definitely wouldn’t like ).
9.DAMAGE TO INTERNAL ORGANS
Food swimming in oil can be very toxic both for the liver as well as other internal organs. Going into the biology, (you need to know this) , the esophageal sphincter, which is a muscle at one end of the esophagus,has the function of keeping the contents of the stomach away from the esophagus. The damage of this muscle, leads to acid reflux. The liver processes fats in the blood, excessive fats and calories overload the liver and hence the fat builds up in the liver cells. This leads to the malfunctioning of the liver. The excess of oily food leads to the weakening of esophageal sphincter , which in turn damages the internal organs and the muscles. The organs are then not able to function properly.
8.SEVERE HEADACHES
The next time, you are suffering from severe headaches, it’s probably not because you have suddenly got a week eyesight or maybe you are just under stress. It is because of all the excessive oil intake. The more than required oil intake can also lead to migraines. How? Well because oil changes the size of blood vessels in the brain, and hence is capable of changing the brain’s chemistry. Hence you constantly feel like there is a hammer hitting your head. Be habitual of eating green vegetables,they actually hep to cure the headaches(even the eyesight problem).
7.RETENTION OF MEMORY
Excessive oily food takes a toll on short term memory. Stating the facts first, oil increases insulin resistance. It further leads in inefficient use of glucose. But This glucose is very essential in order for the brain to function properly. So the fat that you consume, directly effects your memory. Fat consumption increases the level of LDL cholesterol and further produces inflammatory genes . The fat makes your brain lousy. And also you are not able to retain what you memorize. Including oily food in your daily routine can therefore cause a lot of problems. This one in particular is a major one in itself .
6.GALL BLADDER PROBLEMS
The gall bladder is responsible for storing the bile juice and delivering it into the gut when you intake oily food.The bile that is stored in the gall bladder is produced in the liver.So now to state, the excessive amount of fat is not stored in the bile and it causes inflammation and irritation of the gall bladder.(Mainly because of increased pressure on the liver). The unabsorbed fat also leads to diarrhea. Which is bad for both the liver and the gall bladder. And I hope by now you know better than consuming oily food.
5.CHOLESTEROL
You have all seen the advertisements of those oil brands which have low cholesterol ?
Yeah so there is an important purpose behind that product, which also happens to be an important issue . When you consume excessive oil, your cholesterol level increases. (And cholesterol is not at all good for your health) .
Most of the oils contain saturated fats which is an entire family of fatty acids. This increases the cholesterol level which can lead to heart attacks . Cholesterol should not be consumed , because only a healthy heart means a happy life .
4. LAZINESS
Oily food reduces your performance. Because you tend to get fat and lazy and then you can’t stand exercising.
This is mainly because your body reacts to the fats by producing some proteins, which makes the metabolism rate very slow and inefficient. This is what your body calls as a protective mechanism. So no wonder,you don’t feel like getting up from the bed you have been spending the entire day on.You tend to be mentally foggy, and lethargic .
3. CANCEROUS
Eating more than necessary oily food increases the risk of cancer. This is mainly due to obesity, lack of exercise and well , lots of junk. This is mainly because fatty food contains long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids.These acids cause damage to the cells and hence, cancer. These trans fats contain the maximum number of hydrogen atoms the carbon chain can hold, which renders them rigid.(The length of this chain determines the effect on the cancer) .
And hence I advice you to minimize the use of such fats , or any kind of fat. Eat at least five fruits and vegetables a day (Staying healthy is the motto) .
2.HEART DISEASES
Remember how I mentioned earlier that oily foods increase the level of cholesterol? So this cholesterol, is one evil substance. It can get deposited in the walls of the arteries. As the level increases, it becomes very difficult for the food to pass through, as a result of which your heart becomes all panicky, and starts pumping blood faster. Increasing the intake of fatty foods results in elevated blood pressures due to the narrowing of arteries.Therefore, the more the saturated fats you consume, the more the risk of such heart diseases . No wonder the emphasis on homemade food these days.
1.OBESITY
Obesity is one of the most dreaded consequence. Most of us are so scared of being fat and we all face *HIT THE GYM* OR * FOOD CALLS ME HOME* dilemma . As most of you might already know, oily food makes you obese. This means thrice the usual fat. (And trust me, it is highly abnormal) . It is also quite an evident fact. When you eat more(especially fatty foods) than you exercise, your body starts storing this extra fat as adipose, and you tend to be overweight as time goes by. Hypertension, or high blood pressure, is commonly associated with obesity, due to the increased force of heart contractions . Obesity is not healthy. Not only because you can’t fit into the nicer clothes but also because it is the root cause of all the diseases mentioned above ,and also leads to a sedentary lifestyle. ( Now you know the reason why oily food is also known as the * Fatty food * ).

You should not be asking why healthy food is so expensive,try asking why junk food is so cheap.
